🔵🔥 MY PREDICTED CHELSEA XI VS ARSENAL — WHO MAKES THE STARTING XI?

Chelsea face a huge test against Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday, and the big question is: who should Xabi Alonso trust from the start? 👀🔵

With both teams making a perfect start to their Premier League campaigns, this London derby could be one of Chelsea’s biggest early tests of the season.

🧤 MY PREDICTED CHELSEA XI

Formation: 3-4-2-1

🧤 Goalkeeper: Emiliano Martínez

🛡️ Defence: Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi, Levi Colwill

⚡ Wing-backs: Pedro Neto, Jorrel Hato

🎯 Midfield: Romeo Lavia, Reece James

🔥 Attacking midfield: Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer

⚽ Striker: João Pedro

This lineup would give Chelsea a combination of defensive strength, midfield energy and attacking creativity.

🔵 THE BIG QUESTION — WHO GETS DROPPED?

One of the biggest selection battles could come in midfield.

Moisés Caicedo is a major fitness doubt after feeling pain during his short appearance against Brighton, while Jordan Henderson is still working towards his Chelsea debut. That could force Alonso to consider alternative options in the middle of the pitch.

Romeo Lavia could therefore have an important role, especially after scoring Chelsea’s opener against Brighton.

Reece James is another interesting option. Chelsea are expected to use him more centrally this season, and his ability to defend, carry the ball and distribute possession could be extremely valuable against Arsenal’s midfield.

🔥 CHELSEA’S ATTACK COULD BE THE DIFFERENCE

The attacking combination of Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer and João Pedro is becoming one of the most exciting parts of Chelsea’s team.

João Pedro has already made a strong impact, while Palmer remains the player capable of producing something special when Chelsea need a moment of individual brilliance.

Rogers also brings pace, movement and physicality, giving Chelsea another way to hurt Arsenal in transition.

Arsenal have started the season strongly and have been particularly impressive defensively, so Chelsea will need their attacking players to be at their best.

👀 WHAT ABOUT THE DEFENCE?

This could be the biggest concern for Chelsea.

The Blues have shown plenty of attacking quality, but Alonso will know that Arsenal will punish defensive mistakes.

Chelsea may need to remain compact, especially when Arsenal have possession, while using the pace of Neto, Rogers and João Pedro to attack spaces behind the Gunners’ defence.
